Aurora Early Learning Center

AURORA EARLY LEARNING CENTER
Staff members team with families to create learning goals for children to prepare them for kindergarten and plans daily experiences based on these goals.
The center’s unique Healthy Lifestyles curriculum helps children develop healthy routines and activities, emphasizing proper nutrition, daily exercise and protecting our environment by recycling, reducing and reusing. We cook on-site, allowing us to serve healthier food and cater to children’s taste preferences. The center contains a garden where children are able to plant, care for, and harvest vegetables and flowers. The center also provides services such as free museum passes and exercise classes.
Formal parent-teacher conferences are scheduled twice a year and frequent, fun and educational family nights are planned throughout the year. A family resource room provides a space for families to use a computer, meet with teachers or counselors and read materials about child development and parenting.
Through the CCAP program, we work with families to provide premier child care services at a reduced rate depending on income and additional criteria. For additional information visit our page on the Child Care Assistance Program. To find out if your family meets the criteria for a child care subsidy, contact our center director.
