On June 27, Joe Franzese of Linden Barber Shop hosted a Classic Car Craze event to benefit One Hope United in Lindenhurst, Illinois. More than 1,200 people attended to admire the 85 classic cars on display. The event raised $755 for the child abuse prevention programs of One Hope United.

The event was supported by Russ Cook Racing, music was provided by WRLR 98.3 and entertainment was supplied by Stubbles the clown, who made balloon animals. Many local vendors also provided a plethora of items for the raffle. In addition, a demonstration took place by the Lake Villa Fire and Rescue Squad and a K-9 demo by the Lake County Sheriff’s Department.
