Nurturing Families

Nurturing Families is an evidence-based program that promotes healthy parenting skills as an alternative to harmful or neglectful practices. By providing parenting assessments, curriculum, and in-home education, we help parents create safe, stable, and nurturing home environments.

Our goal is to strengthen parent-child relationships while building self-worth and self-esteem. This program is recognized by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

Who is Eligible?

Families in our coverage area needing support to improve parent-child relations.

Coverage area includes the following counties: Clinton, Clay, Cook, Grundy, Hamilton, Jefferson, Kane, Kendall, Lake, Madison, Marion, McHenry, Monroe, Randolph, Sangamon, St. Clair, Washington, Wayne, and Will.

Cost
There is no cost to families in this program.

Referrals
One Hope United accepts referrals from the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
