Family Dependency Treatment Court (FDTC)
Family Dependency Treatment Court (FDTC) is designed for parents in Hillsborough County involved in the dependency court system due to substance use issues. The goal is to help parents achieve lasting sobriety and reunify with their children in a safe, timely manner.

- Intensive case management focused on achieving case plan goals
- Regular and supportive visitation between parents and their children
- Ongoing court appearances to monitor progress and ensure accountability
- Collaborative support with licensed substance abuse treatment providers
Who is eligible?
- Parents with an open dependency case in Hillsborough County, Florida
- Substance abuse is the primary concern in the case
- The parent is motivated to achieve sobriety and reunification
Cost
There is no cost to participate in the program.
Referrals
Eligible parents are referred by the Judge or their Dependency Case Manager.
